A new set of intermodal freight wagons has entered operation for RTB Cargo Netherlands as part of Contargo’s services on the route to Weil am Rhein.
The train consists of 24 wagons: eight four-axle Sgns and sixteen six-axle Sggrss. The handover of the vehicles took place in Duisburg.
Prior to entering service, the wagons were transported from the port of Duisburg to Maasvlakte in Rotterdam. They were then incorporated into the train system and dispatched to southern Germany.
RTB Cargo Netherlands is responsible for the deployment of the wagons in daily intermodal traffic. The technical evaluation, documentation, and approval procedures were carried out in coordination with ERR European Rail Rent.
