Alpha Trains has delivered a new Siemens Vectron MS electric locomotive to Budamar Logistics Slovakia.
The latest addition joins several Vectron locomotives already operated within Budamar Group: Poland-based InterCargo currently uses one Alpha Trains Vectron, while Budamar West in Germany operates three more from the same lessor.
Alpha Trains has confirmed that Budamar Logistics plans to continue leasing additional multisystem locomotives of the Vectron platform.
The newly delivered locomotive is expected to enter service shortly under Budamar’s operations, supporting cross-border freight flows in Central and Eastern Europe.
