The trilateral initiative aims to strengthen the international logistics corridor and facilitate more efficient trade flows across the region.

Russia, China, and Kazakhstan have announced an initiative to improve their transport and logistics infrastructure. The collaboration, which involves Russian logistics company Slavtrans, China's Xi'an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation, and Kazakhstan Railways, underscores a shared vision for strengthening economic ties and streamlining import-export operations across the region.

Under the newly signed memorandum of understanding, the tripartite alliance aims to establish a new transport and warehousing hub near Moscow, specifically in TLC "Selyatino." This strategic move is designed to serve as a nexus for enhancing the efficiency and capacity of freight movements, thereby fostering a more robust economic and trade cooperation among the participating countries.

Additionally, the agreement outlines plans to develop a direct transport link connecting Xi’an, a pivotal economic center in China, with Moscow. This endeavor seeks to capitalize on the existing Xi'an-Alashankou/Khorgos-Selyatino liner traffic, further strengthening the international logistics corridor.
