DB Cargo Full Load Solutions is expanding its European fleet with 200 new trailers, including 100 mega units to increase loading capacity and support intermodal operations.

DB Cargo Full Load Solutions (FLS) has expanded its fleet with 200 additional trailers, half of them mega trailers designed for high-volume freight. The company aims to improve capacity and flexibility on key European intermodal routes.

The mega units offer up to 100 cubic metres of loading space and an internal height of three metres, supported by a liftable roof for transporting bulky goods. The trailers are also equipped with modern load-securing systems, ADR signage and Code XL certification to support hazardous cargo and waste transport.

"Having a versatile fleet is essential for our intermodal business. It enables us to respond more efficiently to customer needs across Europe," said Christian Jeck, Head of DB Cargo Full Load Solutions (Transa Spedition).

The new trailers are already in service on international road and rail routes, including flows for the paper industry between Sweden, Germany and Italy. With the latest delivery, DB Cargo FLS now operates a fleet of around 450 trailers for combined transport.
