The project, valued at EUR 33.5m (PLN 145m), is scheduled for completion in mid-2026 and is located on the former KWK Makoszowy and JSW Koks industrial site.

The Polish Development Fund (PFR) is co-financing the construction of an intermodal terminal for CLIP Group in Zabrze, southern Poland.

PFR is providing a loan of up to EUR 18.8m (PLN 81.5m), with the remaining EUR 14.7m (PLN 72.5m) financed through Poland’s National Recovery Plan (KPO).

The terminal will have an annual capacity of 312,000 TEU and will include four 750-metre transshipment tracks, two electrified RTG cranes, and a terminal management system.

Located in the Silesian industrial region, the facility will support domestic and international freight flows and improve rail connections between southern Poland and the Baltic ports of Gdańsk and Gdynia.
