Siemens Mobility has delivered two Vectron MS multi-system locomotives to Laude Smart Intermodal.
The Vectron MS platform is designed for cross-border operations under multiple European electrification and signalling systems. Siemens Mobility reports that nearly 3,000 Vectron locomotives have been contracted, with the fleet accumulating more than one billion kilometres in service.
The latest delivery supports Laude’s intermodal operations across Central and Western Europe. The project included financing from Siemens Financial Services and EU funding under Poland’s National Recovery Plan (KPO), administered by the Centre for EU Transport Projects (CUPT).
Siemens Mobility provides rolling stock, maintenance and financing as part of its cooperation with the Polish operator.
