Hupac and TPNova will operate a terminal on a surface area of over 105,000 sqm from the second quarter of 2025. By then, the consortium committed to invest at least 12 million euros in the terminal development, following Adif’s investment of over 97 million euros.
With Barcelona only 15 km away, this is a strategic multimodal hub for the Mediterranean axis, mostly serving intermodal and automotive industries. It can accommodate trains with lengths of up to 750 metres on Iberian gauge, and a connection to the standard gauge line of the Mediterranean Corridor is planned too.
