Hrochostroj has taken delivery of a second EffiShunter 1000 locomotive from Czech manufacturer CZ LOKO.
The delivery follows the earlier acquisition of the first EffiShunter 1000, named “Julie”. Both locomotives are part of Hrochostroj’s fleet renewal and expansion programme.
The EffiShunter 1000 is a four-axle diesel-electric shunting locomotive designed for industrial and light mainline operations. It is equipped with an AC/DC transmission system and is certified for operation on selected Central European networks, depending on configuration.
Hrochostroj, active in railway construction and infrastructure works, uses its locomotive fleet for construction logistics and material transport related to rail projects.
