Ambrogio Intermodal received a shipment of 50 new railway wagons from NYMWAG CS, a Czech Republic-based rail manufacturer. The event took place at the operator's terminal in Gallarate, where representatives from both companies were present.
The addition of these 90-foot railcars expands the existing fleet and supports ongoing operations across various European routes. These wagons are now actively in service, contributing to the rail operator's ability to maintain and manage its rail services across the continent.
This acquisition is part of the operator's efforts to maintain a robust and capable fleet to meet customer needs and support rail freight transport throughout Europe. The new railcars also align with broader objectives to support sustainability within the European transport sector.
Ambrogio Intermodal, which is building its third terminal, has also annonced the purchase of 650 swap bodies and container chassis earlier this year.
